Wakefield
Wakefield is a town of approximately 25,000 people, located ten miles northeast of Boston. For those wishing to take public transportation, there is a commuter rail (operated by the MBTA) with very regular service to Boston.

The town's location provides a very good environment for business. Many specialty stores and service businesses are located along Main Street, North Avenue and in the Greenwood and Montrose sections.

Wakefield enjoys a strong sense of community spirit, with many town-wide community events, from Town Day, to an Independence Day Parade, to an Arts Festival, to a fall Homecoming Celebration, to Concerts on the Common, on the banks of lovely Lake Quannapowitt. Having recently celebrated its 350th anniversary, Wakefield also has a significant historical heritage and many fine old buildings. In addition, there is a very good library and a flourishing arts/cultural life.
